On a hunt for a perfect water proof liquid liner.

I have been on the search for a good, long lasting and possibly water proof black liquid liner for some time now. I was faithfully using MAC Boot Black liquid eye liner for about 6 years now. It's pretty expensive, it now sells for $17.50. Although liner bottles usually last for along time, I have noticed the quality has changed. It seems to not last as long and be a bit runny which makes it difficult to apply. Plus, it isn't friendly to people with watery eyes.

I have been on the hunt for a good liner for a few months now. I have been asking every gal I meet, what liner they use. A good friend of mine said she uses Almay, which sells for about $7.00's. So far I like (not love), this liner. The Almay website claims,

"Get beautiful definition with this easy-to-use liquid liner. Water-resistant formula lasts up to 16 hours without irritation. Unique "inkwell" design delivers fresh color every time. Flex-tip applicator provides mistake-proof control."

Well, it doesn't last 16 hours, more like 6 hours, but that is better then a lot of other products I have tried. The great thing about this liner is it's price and it is fairly water resistant. If anyone else knows of good liquid liner please let me know. The search continues, wish me luck.

Native American clothing and shoes.

My new obsession is with Native American clothing and moccasins. I love everything about turquoise jewelry, bead work and embroidery. I found the above ankle high vintage Minnetonka's for $5. They are soft soled and missing a little bit of beading. I love them so much. The maroon colored moccasins are a Birthday present to myself from Zappos.com.
I love moccasins so much I even bought my mother a pair for her Birthday. Native American clothing and accessories have become really trendy, stores like Free People and JCrew have adapted these looks into their new seasons. It seems every fall the hippy, boho, Native American look comes back.
